8-Week Training Plans
Professional Triathlete Lauren Jensen has guided hundreds of triathletes of all experience levels to successful finishes. She now has created four economical training plans to help guide your training for those athletes looking for guidance but not the expense of personalized weekly or monthly training plans. Select the appropriate plan based on the distance you will race, Sprint or Olympic; and your triathlon experience, Beginner (first or second race) or Intermediate. The four plans each cover the eight weeks leading up to the race. The schedule for each week will include detailed workouts with one required workout in each sport (swim, bike, run) along with suggested and optional workouts for people with more time and enthusiasm. The plans are flexible to allow you to fit the workouts into your week.
Note that these are not group training programs, but meant for the individual to be executed at favorite training locations.
